Sock Jocks
Dear Bill Moyers
Thank you for this piece on “Shock Jock” whom most of the American people are not all that familiar with. I am totally outraged at the level and degree of hate speech that is being spewed by the rightwing shock jocks toward the left or liberals in America today. There is a certain irony that Michael Reagan the son of President Reagan who is the great-grand father of the modern day conservative religious right movement can make such threats of death over the public air waves and not be held liable. MICHAEL REAGAN: "Take them out and shoot them. They are traitors to this country, and shoot them. But anybody who would do that doesn't deserve to live. You shoot them. You call them traitors, that's what they are, and you shoot them dead. I'll pay for the bullet."
Michael Reagan, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, and Glenn Beck as well as a host of other shock jock should be charge with high crime and no misdemeanors. They should be prosecuted to the fullest existent of the law, Rush Limbaugh for his "Operation Chaos”. These are the people that are the real threat to America freedom and security. The Reagan conservative’s revolution has moved the pendulum in the United States so far to the right. It makes many mainstream American centrists look like the so called loony lefties that the Conservatives love to bash.
As our nation and the global economy and political system goes down the tube, our nations airwaves and cable are filled with mostly recycled garbage with the exception of shows such as your and “Democracy Now” and others that are on PBS and NPR. It is time for the people in the center to stand-up and be heard. David

There is No Way to Peace, Peace is the Way
To all of those people who are conserved about the environment unlike the Shawn Hannity’s (the SUV drivers of America). The act of war is one of the most environmentally devastating acts committed by mankind. Especially when it is one nation that is consumes 25% of the world’s natural resources, while making up less than 5% of the world population. With right wingers such as Hannity being perceived as mainstream Americans, who are proud to consume more than their fair share of the world oil while dictating the terms and conditions to other nation’s of people who are less fortunate than they are.
To all of the SUV (God Bless America) drivers, God has blessed America and Americas has abused the blessing. The United States using its great wealth and natural resources to go to war to control more of the world’s oil in the name of national security. Whether it is the self-righteousness, greed or hypocrisy of their greater than thou attitudes, they are the traitors who will sellout our soldiers for another barrel of oil. While claiming all of those people who protest for peace are anti- American.
Yes, it is true that it is in the best interest of some of the big American corporations to go to war. Big money is made in war by a few corporations and people such as Vice President Cheney, Halliburton and Blackwater. For the religious self righteous people who are pro-life to be the first to stand-up for more war is so paradoxical. Sean Hannity, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld to name a few of the pro Neocons should be tried for treason. Then the United States could regain her dignity and respect from the international community of nations. Only by confronting our problems here in the United States can we start to help other nations of people with some of their problems abroad.

Hillary Endorse Israel’s Bombing of Syria
Israel has once again lowered the bar for preemptive war by bombing Syria with little to no government response after their mission. It was only last year (2006) Israel bombed the hell out of Lebanon with the United States airlifting more cluster-bombs to Israel. What other nation could carry out the same military actions against her neighbors as the State of Israel has for the last sixty years and not be called a terrorist state. The State of Israel has a military arsenal that could destroy the Middle East and most of Europe. For too many years the State of Israel has gotten away being an un-official military nuclear power.
By Israel holding the status as an un-official military nuclear power she does not have to be accountable to the international community standards and laws. Israel has created a state of denial to get away with her nuclear weapons program and her uncivil and inhuman treatment of her neighbors. Israel could only get away with what she has gotten away with the blessing of both major political parties in the United States. Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton gave the Israelis her blessing on the Israeli air strike on Syria in the Democratic Debates at Dartmouth Collage.
Only with the support of both major American political Parties can the State of Israel get away with the murder and mayhem that she has for so many years. This is why so many people hate us as we stand united in terrorizing the lives of so many people in the Middle East. As long as anyone from the United States or Israel sets a different standard than they are willing to live by, they will be seen as being wrong and as a hypocrite by the majority of the people of the world. If the United States really wants to help the people of Israel and Middle East there will have to be great reform from our current ways. This model of reform must happen on an international level in many different places around the world with a higher level of thinking being given to the indigence people of the world.

Israel and Iraq
There are many similarities between the United States-Iraqi War and the Israeli-Palestinian War that divide the people of the world. Only the United States government financially supports the Israeli government’s brutal actions and policies they have taken against the Palestinian society for the last forty plus years. The United States-Israeli Middle East policies and actions have fueled the fire of the so called Islamic extremist’s hatred of the Western World. What Israeli and the United States government represent to so many Islamic people and families in the region is death and destruction. The State of Israel fighting to control the land and water in her region with the United States fighting to control the region of land with oil.
Much of the so called Iraqi intelligence before the United States-British invasion of Iraq emanated from the Israeli government intelligence services. With many American Jewish Temples flying banner “United we stand with Israel” while they raise billions of dollars to support Israel in her illegal and immoral operations against the Palestinian society. Today many if not the majority of the American people feel betrayed and lied too about the reasons for going to war in Iraq. The same is very true in the Jewish community of people while the Israel government remains united and continues its military campaign against the Palestinian people. Both the United States and Israel have created societies that are not sustainable over the course of time.
It is said that the victors of war write the history books. Yet if the truth is not told at the time then how accurate can the history books really be. This is the cornerstone to many of the problems we face in the Middle East today. Most of the American people know little to nothing about the Middle East other than what they have learned at their place of worship or what their government and mass media has told them. Exxon Protest
This is a brief outline in a peaceful protest against Exxon the worlds biggest oil company that is resisting in become an environmental friendly energy company. Both Shell and British Petroleum have invested much more in the research and development of alternative renewable energy sources. Exxon leading the oil lobby in the United States has been a major road block in the research and development of alternative energy sources. The only things the big company’s executives understand is profit and loss on the bottom line of their financial statement and their retirement package.
A message has to be sent to the big oil companies that alternative renewable energy sources need to be developed and implemented. New cleaner and greener sources of renewable energy need to be developed that can not be monopolized as with the profits of oil. By focusing on Exxon a message can be sent to the worlds big oil companies to think long-term environmentally.
In many states there is a deposit on soda and beer cans and bottles. By law a business establishment that sells the returnable bottles and cans must accept the returns and refund the deposit to the customers. The store must sell the exact size and style of bottle or can that is being returned for a refund. If the American people in large numbers could return their returnable bottles and cans to the Exxon convenience store a message could be sent.
As part of the Green Energy Exxon Protest the customers should pay for as much of their gasoline with nickels, dimes, and quarters. If these two actions were taken on by thousands of American customers a clear message would be sent to the big oil companies. Local environmental groups could organize Green Energy Exxon Protest Days. With people willing to stand in line to return their bottles and cans and pay for their gasoline in change a bottle neck will be created cutting into the profits of the oil companies. A platform of time standing in line will be created for the protester to chat among themselves and the other customers that may not be aware of the environmental and energy problems that are on our horizon.

My Brother’s Christian Right
My brother and the Christian Right that blinded by the Bible are leading this country into an endless religious war. Where there are many good and balanced Christian people and families in America and world. The extreme Born Again American Christian Right people such as President George W. Bush have taken their religious beliefs turned them into unsupported facts leading us into an endless religious war. Too many of the people that are part of the Christian rarely get or give any credit to any information or knowledge that does not originate from the Bible. They use their Bible as their cornerstone, foundation and roof for what they believe is right.
The American Christian Right have taken over the United States political system making it one of the hated governments in the world. It is their lack of tolerance of other people and their ways. It is the religious fervor of the American Christian Right that makes them no different than the enemies we are fighting today. The religious extremists on both sides have more in common with one and another they do with the majority of the people within their own nation.
Too many people of the American Christian Right read the Bible for their primary source of knowledge getting little to no information from other sources other than the their church. Too often their understanding of global history and science comes from their Bible and their religious leaders. They will thank their God for having more than other people, who are the non believers while fighting them so they can take more for themselves.
Too many of religious extremists of the Christian-Judaic Islamic faiths are people who can kill the non-believes of the people on the other side. Justifying it by saying they are doing it in God’s name. They polarize nations of people to go to war fighting in God name while they blame others for the problems we face in the world today. Yes, they will take the high religious road while they are putting down all of those people around them who are the non-believers.

My God Is Not Your God
My God is not so arrogant to pass judgment onto other people when it does not interfere with the rights of others. My God has more tolerance for the different ways of other people than most of the men who preach the words of God. My God is not so pompous to say if you do not believe in me and my son Jesus Christ that you will go to hell.
My God does not believe in wars as a way to solve the problems and differences of people and nations. My God believes in sharing the natural resources and wealth thy has created for all. Yes, my God is greater than your God because my God’s home has more room for all people with heaven and hell right here on earth. My God created the natural resources to make tools and weapons for mankind to decide how to use.
My God does not dictate thy ways onto other people in one narrow image. My God is in the hearts and minds for all who have room in their souls. My God is the creator of the sprit of life and death. My God is a teacher not a dictator. My God’s home is in the skies, water and soil right here on earth. Yes, my God created good and bad in all for people to see.
It is up to people to decide how they are going to use what God has created. One can not blame God for what thou has created. They can only look at what they have done with what God has given them. For if there was no bad we would not understand what is good. God created more good than bad in a world that bad wins more often than good.
